This page contains resources to support learning. Primary transition information and registration packs can be found here.
We realise that parents of primary age children, especially those in Year 6, may be anxious about their child's transition to secondary school. We hope the resources on this page will provide some useful activities to support their transition to secondary school.

For the past few years we have encouraged Year 6 pupils to complete a Reading Passport during the Summer Term and summer holidays. We have previously provided books to the primary schools in Cambourne to help support this scheme, unfortunately, given the precautions required for COVID-19 we have been unable to distribute the books this year. However, we would still welcome Year 6 pupils to participate in the scheme if they feel able.
Last year we modified the passport to include articles and poems as well as books. In light of COVID-19 we have futher extended the range of articles and poems available. We are also providing some classic texts in pdf form and with Audible's free access to some children's books, we are also including links to some e-audio books.
Finally, in case you have not been made aware, there is an e-book - Coronavirus: A Book for Children, beautifully illustrated by the Gruffalo artist Axel Scheffler, it may be useful in helping to explain COVID-19 to young children.
This year's passport is available to download in two file types - MS Word or a fillable PDF. You should not need to print this document unless you wish to. The PDF works best with Adobe or Chrome.
