The sport of basketball is represented in Cambourne by a Juniors club, which is a satellite club of Cambridge Cats, and a Seniors club. These clubs exist to allow players of all ages and abilties to play the sport for fun on a regular basis.
Cambourne Junior Netball Club
Cambourne Netball Club currently have one team in the Premier League and three teams playing in the Cambridge and District Winter League and a growing Junior team.
Cambourne Netball Club is aimed at girls in school years 7, 8 and 9.
Cambourne United Football Club
Cambourne United Football Club is a FA Charter Standard Club, providing coaching for girls from ages 4 to 16 and women, and boys from ages 3 to 8. Cambourne United FC has 10 female teams, 3 boys teams at U7 and U8, as well as a thriving Girls Soccer School and separate Boys Soccer School, with over 150 players registered to the club. The yoga courses offered with Cambourne Yoga strips the ancient science-art back to its traditional roots. Foundation work in yoga asanas, intellectual context through history and philosophy, and practice in pranayama, meditation and understanding of the subtle energy body are all explored.
Structured 8-week Beginners Yoga Courses (Level 1)
Vinyasa Flow Yoga (Level 2)
Included at both levels are breathing, relaxation and meditation techniques
The class is aimed at teens to Seniors and last 90 minutes.
Cambridgeshire Badminton Academy
Friday matchplay evenings are running for juniors and adults at Cambourne Village College, 6-10pm. Includes general training from 6.00 - 7.30pm for less experienced juniors until end of July.
Individuals and families are all welcome. We allocate most courts to juniors from 6pm - 7.30pm and switch to more courts for adults/advanced juniors from 7.30pm - 10pm. Outside the training hours, all juniors should be accompanied by an adult. If you have the energy, you can play for 4 hours!
Cambridge United Youth and Community Trust Soccer
Cambridge United Community Trust is the charitable arm of Cambridge United. We use the club's resources to produce a positive impact on the local community.
The sessions are aimed at 18 months - 5 years old.
Ceroc Modern Jive Classes
Going to a Ceroc evening is a great way to meet people, have fun & keep fit all whilst learning to dance. So if you want to learn to dance, learn to Ballroom, learn to Salsa, learn to choreograph, learn to Street dance, learn the disciplines of dance or just want to generally learn to dance then a Ceroc dance class is the quickest way to learn to partner dance.
Our stylish dance is a fusion of many dance forms including, but not limited to Salsa, Ballroom & Latin American, Hip Hop, Street dance, Musical Theatre, Tango and Jive.
Age range: 16 years & above.
Cost: £8 per session + £3 membership (Discounts available on the night)
No partner required as partners are rotated through the evening
Jill Bridger School of Dance
The Jill Bridger School of Dance was established in 1988 and runs classes in RAD ballet, ISTD modern and tap in Cambridge and villages nearby. The school has approximately 650 pupils from aged 18 months to 18 years. Our classes are tailored to discovering and fulfilling the potential of each child and to nurturing their creative development.

The AKS Progressive Teaching Structure gives students a good foundation of traditional karate along with fitness training, sparring, practical self-defence and competition sport karate. We help build confidence, strength, stamina, awareness, speed and reaction. The class environment is structured, disciplined, fun and respectful.
These classes are aimed at 5 year olds upwards.
