Open Evening 2020

This year, due to the Covid pandemic, we were disappointed not to be able to invite you to visit the school for our open evening.  Instead of this, we held a live ‘virtual’ event on 1 October consisting of two presentations and a ten-minute video of life at the College.  These can be viewed on the link below.

The most frequently asked questions arising from the event, as ever, concerned admissions.  To confirm:

  • If a child lives in Cambourne but attends a non-catchment primary school: In keeping with our mission to provide excellent  secondary education for all who live in Cambourne, it is our intention to offer a place at the College to those children who live in Cambourne but who do not currently attend a town primary school.  In the past, we have always offered a place to any Cambourne-resident Year 6 who has applied for one.
  • If you live out of catchment: Yes, it is worth applying. We usually offer a small number of places to non-catchment pupils.  Please bear in mind that an offer of place cannot be guaranteed.
