Cambourne Village College is purpose built for the Cam Academy Trust, the vibrant, brand new building with excellent facilities provides a perfect environment in which to learn and work. Its outlook and ethos are fully in line with the tradition of Village Colleges established in line with the vision of Henry Morris for community-based schooling. Cambourne Village College has, from the outset, been at the heart of its community and is already heavily used by many clubs and organisations, not just by our students during the designated school day.

Teacher of Maths with KS3 or KS4 Coordinator

To start:  1 January 2020 (earlier start dates can be negotiated)

Salary: MPS or UPS (and TLR 2C £2,721)

Contract: Full or Part-time, Fixed term or permanent for the right candidate

We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Maths from 1 January 2020 (or earlier).  

We are looking to appoint a Maths teacher with excellent subject knowledge, who is committed to high standards of teaching and learning who would also like to take on the strategic planning and curriculum development of KS3 or KS4 Mathematics.

Weekend Receptionist/s

Weekend Receptionists required

Casual Contracts £10.79ph

To start as soon as possible.

Casual contract hours: As required by bookings but between 7am and 10.30pm.

These individuals will be booked as required for College events and paid per hour at £10.79ph (NJC point 4 with 13% holiday pay)

Vacancy Information

We are looking to appoint Weekend Receptionists to cover the receptionist desk of the College during its busy weekend lettings programme. The post holders will work with the users of the College who have booked the College for events and activities. The Weekend Receptionists will ensure that members attending events are greeted professionally and courteously as they access the building and its facilities. The post holders will also be expected to undertake a range of clerical duties including answering the telephone and dealing with questions about the busy events programme.

The successful candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working in a fast-paced environment where no 2 days are the same. Experience of working with Microsoft packages and spreadsheets would be advantageous.
