Geobus Volcano Workshop

On Thursday 10th October, GeoBus came into school to run an interactive and hands-on workshop about volcanoes, how they erupt, and how they are monitored. Scientists and geographers from UCL (University College London) led this workshop, which included a practical demonstration to simulate a volcanic eruption and fun experiment using party poppers and weights to show that predicting volcanic eruptions is never an easy task!
