Parent Bulletin 03.12.2021
3rd December 2021
This week's Parent Bulletin is available here
Dear Parents and Carers
Christmas Appeal
With just two weeks left of this term, we are launching our Christmas Appeal to provide an additional food-shopping voucher over the December break for our families who have free school meals. Any donations, however small, are very much appreciated. If anyone has any company or business contacts who also might be willing to make a donation, please do contact them on our behalf. Parent donations can be made on Parent Pay: https://www.parentpay.com/ Cash donations can also be left at Reception, or a money transfer organised by contacting our Finance Team on csayer@cambournevc.org . I do understand that this is a difficult season for many people, especially this year, so any donations are hugely welcome. The appeal closes at midday on Friday 17 December.
Christmas Events
Unfortunately, under the current Covid restrictions, we aren’t able to invite parents into school this term for our normal end-of-term concert. Information about replacement virtual events will be with you soon.
Flu Vaccination Catch Up
The NHS team will be visiting again on Tuesday 14 December to vaccinate the students who were not done in the first round last week.
Covid Updates
Numbers of positive cases are rising again this week, with an additional 9 cases amongst teaching and support staff. This places a considerable strain on resources, so please bear with us if all services are not running as smoothly as we would like.

Please remember that all pupils are strongly recommended to bring a reusable mask to school which should be worn in communal areas. Please ensure that testing is done every Wednesday and Sunday, and results uploaded.
I hope you all have a very good weekend.
Yours sincerely
