Science Enrichment: Biotechnology

Our Year 11 Triple scientists have been doing hands-on Biotech to support their learning in the Genetics and Evolution unit of their Biology course. This enrichment activity was part of the Amgen Biotech Experience (ABE) with equipment and reagents supplied as part of this project. One of the students involved said, ‘I loved using the equipment like you see being used in real labs’ another said, ‘I liked the chance to apply what we learnt in class to real work’.
