Update 01.04.2020

1st April 2020

Dear Parents and Carers

Today we held a Heads of Department meeting - remotely of course…  where a lot of the discussion concerned sharing good practice with remote learning.  Our learning in this area will continue to grow.  We also discussed the Year 9 options process and you will hear more about the options we are able to offer your child after the Easter break.  The vast majority of pupils will have their first three preferences.

Easter Holiday

We break up for Easter this Friday, 3 April, so this will be the last day of remote learning for 2 weeks.  Monday 20 April is a training day for staff, so remote learning for pupils will resume on Tuesday 21 April.

Critical Workers’ School – Easter Holiday.

Thank you for returning your requests for places.  We will confirm details about the provision to those who have applied.  Anyone with a further request for a place for their child, please contact the school on thecollege@cambournevc.org

Your Children’s Safety On-line

The Department for Education has today issued its own guidance on on-line safety which can be read on the following link:

And a reminder of normal, happy school life – to which we will surely return:  please follow this link to read about last term’s busy events and activities.

With all good wishes, everyone.  Take care of yourselves,
