Music Department Virtual Summer Concert – tonight at 7pm!

The link to the video of this year’s concert, featuring the musical Rapunzel: A Life in Lockdown!; the CamVC Jazz band performing ‘Adrenaline Junkie,’ and combined band arrangement of Also Sprach Zarathustra, all performed by CamVC pupils and staff, and digitally mastered by our awesome music department, will go live on the CATalogue at 7pm.  Access is via your child’s CamVC network login.  Enjoy!

Collecting Personal Items from School: Message from Miss Boyns

Before going into lockdown, all pupils at school were given time to clear their lockers in preparation for the school closure.  We are aware, however, that some pupils were not at school at this time and may still need to clear their lockers or check lost property.

Below are the allocated times for form groups to collect their items, including any emergency medication.  Any pupils wishing to do this should come at their allotted time and go down the right-hand side of the building to access the sports hall, where a socially-distanced one way system will be in place to check for items. In the interests of health and safety, items will be laid out and pupils should look at whether they are theirs but not touch/ move items unless they are sure they belong to them.

Tuesday has been set aside for Year 10 pupils only.  Students may come to school at a time that suits them to fit around live lessons etc.

Year 11: Thursday 16^th July   We are hoping that hoodies will be available to collect along with Year Books. We have therefore put in place extended times for each tutor group to allow for:

• Return of textbooks (Languages/ History/ RPE)
• Return of library books
• Collection of hoodie
• Collection of Year Books
• Collection of lost property

Please note that as for every year, collection of leavers’ items will be conditional upon the return of school textbooks.

Second-Hand Uniform:  If you have any items of outgrown school uniform or PE kit in good condition that you are willing to donate to the school, please send these in when your child attends as above.  We will be organising an on-line second-hand uniform sale during the summer holiday and would love to be able to recycle items, especially at a time when many families’ finances are under pressure.

Prime Minister’s Address:  On Friday 10 July at 10am the Prime Minister will be broadcasting an address to all school leavers.  This can be accessed on Facebook and YouTube.
