Some updates for you today:
Year 10
A lot of information has been sent out on School Post directly to parents of Year 10 pupils, covering Year 10 tests, revision, and an introduction to the Post 16 opportunities coming up. This information is all on the website on this link: https://www.cambournevc.org/COVID-19/Year-10
Year 9
Year 9 Men/DTP immunisations have recommenced. Please check your School Post to see an email about this, containing a link to arrange a clinic appointment for your child. Please note that these immunisations are not taking place in school but are arranged with the immunisation team externally.
CAM Academy Trust Virtual PE Challenge: Please see attached flier.
Thank you to all the students, staff and families who are joining in with the different weekly PE challenges. It has been great to see just how active Cambourne is as a community.
This is some advanced warning that next week (Monday 15th – Sunday 21st June) Cambourne Village College will be competing in our first VIRTUAL fixture. Our challenge is to beat the other CAM Academy Trust secondary schools in seeing who can travel the farthest around the world by logging all the distances of our runs, walks, cycle rides and swims for every day that week. This competition is open to all students, staff and families in the school. Hopefully we will be able to log the biggest distances and claim victory!
There are several other prizes on offer including one for thestudent across the Academy Trust who travels the farthest in that week.
I hope you can join in with us next week, and help us “Race Across the World”.
