Instrument lessons

Click HERE to fill in the online application form for instrument or singing lessons at Cambourne Village College.

Learning to play a musical instrument can be an exciting and enjoyable experience for young people. We are fortunate to employ our own team of highly skilled instrument tutors and offer a wide range of instruments for all pupils to learn.

The Music School has developed and grown in size over many years and currently there are over 150 pupils learning to play instruments, performing in concerts and productions and successfully passing exams.

Please have a look at this video to learn about the variety of instrument lessons we offer.

If you have any further questions, having read through the information, please do not hesitate to contact us. An application form is available from the left menu and we look forward to welcoming your child to our Music School and helping them to enjoy music.

As a taste of what music students can achieve, enjoy the video of the school Jazz Band (a mixture of our Year 10 and 11 students) performing a piece called Metamorphosis written by Mr Mulholland. The students recorded their parts individually and they have been combined together to make one performance. The recording is available HERE (school login required).

Year 9: Into The Woods

Sadly we weren't able to record the Years 7 & 8 Band, the Year 7 production of "Joseph And His Technicoloured Dreamcoat", or the Year 8 production of "Beauty And The Beast" due to large numbers of the cast isolating, but we are looking forward to performing / recording those pieces in the Autumn term.

Happy holidays from the Music Department!
